Moreover, every house on those blocks has a driveway and there is ample space on the other side of the street for parking.

Cyclists aren’t really interested in pedestrian safety. Neither are drivers but unlike cyclists they don’t claim to implement features that only have a dubious tie to pedestrian safety. [/quote]
