Because it creates a habit. Doing something once a day creates a habit.

A couple years ago I did a similar length where [b]if I saw something nice I said something nice. [/b]I like your earrings. Your shoes are really cool. I saw you be kind to that waitress. That was nice.

It’s about five or six years later and I still do it.

It really should be normalized to do so but when done, people will either give you a weird look, or quickly say thank you and go away like you are a weirdo, or think you are hitting on them. these were usually the reactions, sadly wasn't trying to be weird and definitely not trying to hit on someone. [/quote]
