My trip to a National Park will be over by the deadline, so I really don't care. If I did care, what good would that do. All I can do these days is care about myself and my family. Which I think is what a majority of the country wants. Everyone for themselves.
Your family is going to struggle through economic depression, job losses, and other major things like failing infrastructure, dangerous healthcare, etc. How long do you think you would actually last if it were truly everyone for themselves? Have you seen what happens to regular people and their families in places like Haiti?
Well, we're going to find out sooner rather than later. Like Elon said "there will be some pain." I assume the US is headed for a flu pandemic and a second Great Depression all wrapped up in one.
It’s almost like you people want this to happen. Idk what to make of everything at this point. I hate it here!!!
No, it’s happening. I hope that in your hatred you did everything that you could to prevent what’s happening now. Bannon said, before Trump’s first election, that the goal was chaos and the destruction of the government. Those who chose a demented, racist reality show star with a history of bankruptcies and shady business practices are getting exactly what they voted for. I don’t want this to happen, but the people currently in power do. So it’s either going to take revolution— or the people currently in power need to be motivated to change their ways. The likelihood that they’ll be motivated by decency is low. So we’re now at hoping that enough of them are close enough to enough pain that they realize belatedly that the dubious joys of chaos are not in their best interests. Even so, these people are far better at breaking things than they are at fixing them. Think of how Trump lost money running a casino, Teslas racked up a track record for being even more dangerous than the Pinto, and Musk is ruining Twitter. These are the people that a slim majority of voters chose to run our government, spend our tax dollars, and to make irreparable decisions about our well-being collectively and even individually. Sadly, Musk, Trump, and Vance each have a reported history of wanting to be appreciated, acknowledged and possibly even loved by entities that apparently found them to be lacking, and complicated relationships with their fathers. What’s happening now may well include revenge for slights as their egos interpreted them. NP
