I travel to Canada for business and pleasure, and I don’t see how anyone can tell the difference between an American and a Canadian.
Accent? Attitude? They may share skin color but they're not homogeneous.
Eh, when I’m in Toronto and Ottawa I don’t notice an accent among locals. It’s a mixed bag in Montreal—plenty don’t have accents and speak English. And plenty of Canadians are tourists in the local hotels and area restaurants.
Forgot to mention that you must not leave the hotel or your meetings because Ottawa is a bilingual city and many people have thick French accents, plus anglophones have accents vs Toronto or Vancouver. Wow. Please visit Canada properly before commenting. That’s like saying there’s no different between people in California and North Carolina.
