Way too soon to tell. Somebody’s getting snow, but you can’t pinpoint the trajectory this far out. Try again on Monday
That's what Doug said yesterday
Who is Doug?
Kammerer -a handsome meteorologist.
I remember his big picture on the side of the metro buses. Dude was packing some guns in those shots. Likeable too!
Weird. Why would his or anyone's photo need to be on side of a bus? Why are they marketing a meteorologist?
For the same reason they like to share which on air personalities grew up locally, the same reason they have them chitchat with each other on air, the same reason they announce/congratulate employees on their weddings and the births of their children on air…if viewers dislike a tv personality, they change the channel, but if they find them warm, personable, relatable, credible, entertaining, they keep tuning in and get to feel like they know these people. Kammerer is personable and charming on air. He once was covering a storm on air and a tornado was predicted to pass directly over his own house. He knew his son was home alone (he didn’t share that part at the time), so he called his son on air and told him to go to their basement and then kept reporting. People ate that up.
