In order to take the exam you have to have a specific number of credit hours (for example, 150 hours and XX of those need to be in accounting). You don't have to have a Masters' degree, but you need the hours. States also vary on rules to get the license. Supervision/experience for 1 year or 2, passing of ethics exam (separate from CPA exam), etc. [/quote]
