Dude, we are just polite.  It is not OK to be gleeful when you are winning, especially in front of people you know aren’t happy.

I am pleased with the changes but I would never say so or indicate that in front of my lib friends, because that is rude and mean.  I just don’t talk about it or say something noncommittal if it is brought up.  I am sure some of them think silence means I am unhappy with Trump, and that’s fine for them to think but not true.[/quote]

Why not own it? Why is it being "polite" to not acknowledge that you caused the harm they are facing now? You don't have to be gleeful per se, but yeah, hey Janet, I voted for this outcome. This is why it's good that it's happening. Own it. [/quote]
