The pedophilia is a separate issue. The trad Catholics don't address this at all. The mainstream church has put controls into place but I'm not advocating for them as the cover up was abominable.

Trad Catholics want to go back to some fake past. Culrltural Catholics know that lots of people picked and chose what to follow and were not all that Orthodox. They had lots of children because birth control wasn't legal. It wasn't a lifestyle choice and people were not as orthodox as they believe. Converts are often like this. However, he should actually follow current church dogma.[/quote]
