If your DD is a good student, then she will shine at her in-state flagship. And if the in-state flagship saved you $$ - you can help fund graduate school. MANY talented public flagship undergrads go on to top flight graduate programs. And - if you really regret it (and she does too) - she can always transfer for college sophomore year (or start spring of freshman year) Meanwhile - please don't express this to your DD![/quote]
