I hope you have a US drivers license, because in the US you are required to carry some form of ID with you, but it's not really enforced.

No problem until Putin decides he wants his citizens back. Seriously, this administration knows no bounds. We already spent 4 years thinking every day that it couldn’t get worse, there couldn’t be anything more crazy, and yet every day was something else more over-the-top than the last thing. This administration rolled in with the 2025 playbook and an army of people prepared to implement it. OP is right to ask this question.

OP - for right now I wouldn’t be “worried” but I would be alert and do everything to stay off of radar, including not traveling abroad. If this administration gets the deportation machine rolling and the courts don’t immediately reaffirm birthright citizenship then questioning naturalization will also come into play. It’s good to be thinking ahead and have options.[/quote]
