We are flying into and out of Milan. [/quote] You can just go to Zermatt for the day from Cervinia (using the lifts) but it’s actually not very convenient to travel there by road from Cervinia. What sort of other activities did you have in mind? You could easily take the train from Milan to somewhere else in Italy where there would be more to do and see than in Zermatt or Verbier which are really just ski towns (though pretty ones!)[/quote]
