NP here. No the response of “prove it” is what posters think make them oh so clever.

What makes a school great for one student may not for another for all types of reasons. How is a PP supposed to “prove” that Carolina (no one calls it UNC-CH) is worth it and may be better than UVA or UMD? One person says it is, another says it’s not. Poster asking for someone to prove it is the disingenuous one.

But no, the whole “sorry you didn’t get admitted/your kid didn’t get admitted/your kid didn’t get a bid” type comments that come up regularly here as if they are good comebacks just show how socially and intellectually stunted many of the people on this forum are.[/quote]
