If the shooter had been white, half the city would have been burned down. It's usually about race first and foremost in DC. I'm old enough to remember when this first happened and people were demanding to know the name and race of the shooter as soon as it happened. There was never any doubt about the race of the shooter. Any white man living in that neighborhood would make our own Jeff look like a loony right winger, and would never own a gun much less pull the trigger on a kid. If we're honest, we know he'd be too scared to even go outside to check it out.[/quote]
