I can see it being scary during a snow storm, but the rest of the time it is just a highway. We have driven it many times in winter. It has never taken more than 2 hrs to get to Breck from the airport. I would not recommend going when a storm is coming or it is actively snowing, but the rest of the time it is fine. [/quote]
