Is the Emory newspaper a good enough source to stop the bickering? In the Early Decision I round, the University accepted 32% of applicants to the Class of 2028. Nearly two months later in the Early Decision II round, the Emory College of Arts and Sciences (ECAS) accepted 12% of applicants while Oxford College accepted 11% of applicants. https://www.emorywheel.com/article/2024/03/acceptance-rate-increases-to-14-5-for-class-of-2028-after-regular-decision
Part of the confusion is Emory's for not reporting numbers consistently. 32% is Emory and Oxford combined. Then they separate the Ed2 numbers for each college. A less confusing way to report would look like... ED1 Emory-26% Oxford-unknown, but likely no less than 13.5% Emory+Oxford-32% ED2 Emory-12% Oxford-11% Emory+Oxford- 16% ED1+ED2 Emory-20% Oxford-unknown, but likely no less than 13% Emory+Oxford- 25%
