What’s some good sports that have worked out for your young for the grade kids? This is for a late May birthday in an area that 90 percent of kids who play sports are redshirted from January. He likes almost all sports and plays 3 grade level ones already (lax, flag and basketball) so I want one option that is age based since many kids are already a full year older so it’s not as much of an issue to keep up. We are in the south in a very wealthy area so this is the norm. I’m not interested in debating about this, just want some positive suggestions of things that worked out for your kids in a similar situation.
lol what fantasy location is this? Your imagination?
Atlanta
Yeah, no. I know Atlanta. No way — I mean truly no way — are 90% of kids who play sports redshirted from January. You are literally living in a fantasy.
Times have changed since you've lived there.
Really. I didn’t know Atlanta had found a way around the laws of statistics. That is indeed news.
Most people hold back spring and summer in Buckhead. Buckhead is not the same as other areas in Atlanta. This year was also unprecedented due to Covid. It was the 2020 Kinder year. Almost everyone who could reasonably hold their kids back did. You can argue what you want but there are very few kids born after January. It wasn’t a normal year.
lol no. Even in precious Buckhead.
