California gets more per capita than the average state.  They get more in federal funding than any other state (because they are so big).  Their state university system would collapse without federal support, their health care sysstem would collapse without federal support, their police/emergency services would collapse without federal support, their k-12 system would collapse without federal support, they need those federal dollars.[/quote]

California is a major contributor to the federal budget. However, California is the second-least reliant state on federal aid as a percentage of its revenue with 14.5%. Trump is already doing away with federal support for education by eliminating the Department of Education. So this is a hollow threat. Though higher education will be much more expensive within year- like double or triple the current cost for everyone.

So you want to wreck the largest economy in the United States to round up illegals? Start in Texas and Florida! You people craze fanatics. I 100% support California resisting you jackbooted federal thugs. What happened to states rights?
