People say they want the country to be safer. That would do it. Won't happen in my lifetime though, unfortunately. But I've already bought my retirement home where I don't have to worry about it, so in 5 years I really don't care what happens here anymore. [/quote]

Yes, I think that amendment is outdated with today's technology. I hate the mass shootings, and that kids have to do active shooter drills starting in kindergarten. It's only going to get worse as weaponry advances. And yes, I will, thank you. [/quote]

Guns don’t hop to schools on pogo sticks, load themselves, and shoot bullets at kids.

Mentally ill criminals or just plain criminals are the problem.

I agree it is possibly going to get worse, because people are not receiving adequate or any treatment for mental health issues.

We can’t just pretend that the Second Amendment doesn’t exist. People who follow the laws of our country have inalienable rights.
