Great. Can we elect some moderates?
Do you like Eric Adams? He was elected by RCV. Enjoy.
RCV is better. He’s as corrupt as Trayon and ilk on DC Council but he reduced crime and impounded ATVs. And now will go to jail. We got some use out of him and he was beholden to the voters. Trayon didn’t reduce crime, get rid of ATVs and probably won’t go to jail. The only use out of his term was to himself. He certainly did not care about the voters at all. Earlier today Frumin minced his words on whether Trayon should be suspended and wouldn’t commit to saying he should be based on the values of the DC Council. Then when asked whether they could perhaps start listening to the people such as on the crime bill, he said no because DC Council had to stick to their values. Our jaws dropped. No idea why Nnamdi was mollycoddling him and didn’t call him out on flip flopping in the matter of minutes. He has lost the vote of 6 more people in Ward 3 after that interview — we are unrelated, were at lunch and marveled at the two-facedness, opportunism, self-servedness and kakistocracy of it all. It’s like the other side of the Trump coin. I’ll take no federal tax. Trump can have at it. Even if he pulled one of his Cabinet picks on DC, how could they be any worse than this confederacy of corrupt dunces?
