That’s because Clinton ran on Republican mating calls (tough on crime, welfare reform, welfare to the rich). The only Democrat ideal he tried to push was Hillarycare  pushed by Hillary and the Republicans villified her for it and villified her for being an activist First Lady. They didn’t like that and always hated her more than they did Bill because they assumed she was the more liberal of the 2[/quote]
