It’s a terrible format for him and only makes him look bad. On the other hand, every politician needs to do earned media. Which means sit down interviews with lots and lots of different outlets to reach their audience. Harris spent months refusing to do any earned media. Not just podcasts, she wouldn’t even do a basic interview and the ones that she eventually did were very controlled and only with journalists that she chose. It’s fine that she didn’t do Rogan. But she didn’t do any earned media to reach his audience. Even worse, she created paid media to reach young Black men that was very disrespectful.[/quote]
