They were wrong.  For customer service sake, they should have served you.

But in life, you were the one in the wrong.  Why not cut service people a break and [b]respect[/b] that they'd like to get a head start going home sometimes too.  If you are employed, do you work until 5pm on the dot?  Or do you start wrapping up projects at a quarter til and just socialize or answer emails for the last 15 minutes?  Why, because they're customer service, do they have to serve you right until 8pm on the dot?  If they'd started your order at 7:55, would you be totally done and out of there by 8pm?[/quote]Op here. You have made some good points.  And yes I'm employed and try to get off at quitting time of course.  There are those days though that last minute disasters come up that require me to work later.   There are also those great days when I can skip out early.  [/quote]
