There were good 2028 players who left for MD teams before middle school.  For the recent high school tryouts, ALL of the best remaining players tried out for Capital and every one who made the top team accepted the offer.

The 2028 Blue team surprisingly tied Hero's yesterday, so probably slightly less squirming today.  Play day games mean nothing and Capital will still likely struggle this year, but there definitely seems to be potential to compete with top teams.

Question isn’t: why did Capital Blue 28 go winless this weekend … The better one to ask is: how did a brand new Capital team that’s never played together before, which supposedly lost its pipeline of DMVs best players to MD clubs back in middle school, tie a top-5-ranked legacy MD club during their first head-to-head match? [/quote]Both teams went winless?  Truly sad when a once proud organization now is sated with a singular tie for a weekend.  [/quote]
