DC 2021 7 total: 3 reaches (3 rejects), 2 targets (1 accept, 1 WL), 2 safeties (2 accepts). Attending the target which was #1 choice. DC 2024 8 total: 3 reaches (1 accept, 2 rejects), 4 targets (2 accept, 2 WL), 1 safety (1 accept). Attending the reach which was #2 choice.
Why apply to any reaches?
PP here. Adding some context. DC 2021: 3 reaches were T25s (all rejects), target was a T25 with a legacy hook (hence choice #1) and a T40 (WL), safeties were VT (business) and Pitt (accepts). We thought legacy would help make the reach a target, and we surmised correctly. DC 2024: 3 reaches were T25 (including one with a legacy hook, rejected, reject at another, accept at one), 4 targets were 2 T25s (including one with a legacy hook, rejected, WL at the other T25, accepts at the 2 T50s), safety was Pitt. The hooks didn't work for DC 2024, but still wound up at at T25.
