Like sure I'll hold the baby to give you a break and I might enjoy it under certain circumstances (baby is sleeping or very happy, baby is relaxed with me and not looking at me like "uh you're not my mom," I'm not exhausted already, I don't have to hold baby indefinitely, I'm not trying to eat or drink at the moment). But some people hand you their baby like they are bestowing a gift on you. Nope. You've assigned me a task that can range from pleasant to miserable depending on the situation. I don't live your baby like you do.[/quote]
