At my undergrad, the information science building (which looked like a concrete space invader) and another ugly modern 1970s research building have already been torn down and replaced. The pre-WWII buildings get renovated.[/quote] Thanks to Vietnam War, construction for a few decades was optimized for police ability to lock down uppity students (Canaday Hall). We might see a revival of that in the modern Gaza era. [/quote]
