Thats just night correct at all. GA had 700 GA players commit to playing colleges from 91 GA clubs.  413 to D1, 133 to D2, 126 to D3 and 21 to NAIA schools.

GA is pretty much done.  ECNL has monopolized college pathways.   Both are competitive but ENCL is the route you want to take if your DC is looking to play at college level.[/quote]

It’s absolutely true. GA keeps falling behind year over year.  They are many more girls D1 programs so of course there are GA players making crappy programs.  Now pull stats on the top college programs.  They comprised mainly of ECNL players. Its like over 70%.   ECNL has monopolized college path.[/quote]

Mathematically they are comparable. 128 Girls ECNL Clubs with average roster of 25 per team = 3200 players -vs- 91 GA clubs with average roster of 18 per team = 1638 players.  This is almost a 2 to 1 ratio.  So, 70% ECNL to 30% GA seems just about right.   This is not a which league is better argument, but this gives the OP context to also look at Pre-GA teams. [/quote]

PP Here, good point. But in this area it is true, easy to look up on al the websites.  Not sure about the rest of the country. And it is unknowable. But with all the families flocking to ECNL, their rosters are bloated. [/quote]

2024 had about 2600 ECNL girls and 2300 GA girls graduating.

The 2025 commits were about 68% out of the ECNL leagues, 21% out of GA, about 4-5% international, and the rest DPL, USYS, etc.

If you had a girl who wants to play college ball, and who would be top team regardless, and were choosing between GA and ECNL, unless the GA is Top Hat, you’d be stupid to choose GA.
