Penn's ED rate is 14.8%. I haven't seen the latest leaked ED stats from UChicago, though a few years ago it was something like 18%, so mid-teens seems likely, around the same as Penn.

per admitted students webinar shortly after the EA/ED1 round, there were over 20,000 applicants and they accepted 1000. So that makes it a 5% acceptance rate for that round. What was not said was how much of that was ED and how much was EA which people here like to split hairs on. The one sure thing is that the EA rate for this round is not zero as my child that needed FA was accepted and they applied EA.[/quote]
EA is typically in the neighborhood of 2-4%. The difference between ED and EA is not splitting hairs.[/quote]
