I had a nose job at 21, changed my life. My son has very prominent ears, we have no idea where he inherited those. If he wants those pinned back, why not.

DH suffers in relative silence about his early hair loss (often wonders about hair transplants but never seriously suggests one). If he actually asked to get one, I would support him even though I actually have a thing for bald men and think he looks great.

I truly don’t understand the big deal with (limited!) cosmetic surgery.
 I would never advise any drastic or dangerous changes but if something really bothers you, and you can afford to (and want to!) fix it, I don’t understand why you would not. [/quote]
