A year later and the therapist has said that they would support hormone treatments IF we (the parents) thought it was the right decision but that it was our decision to make.  She made recommendations to some endocrinologists who we are going to talk to in the next couple of months. 
The therapist was definitely supportive of my child but did not push hormone treatment.  [/quote]
