He went through a Spanish immersion program from kindergarten, so he took AP Spanish in 10th grade. AP World was offered to 9th graders, so he took that freshman year. AP Psych was his elective as a sophomore, and IB students had to take AP Gov as a 10th grader in order to meet Virginia graduation requirements. AB Calc was his math class junior year, and senior year he took a 1-year SL IB math class. He didn't do great on his AP exams (one 5, three 4's, and a 3), but I think part of that was because so much of his HS career was impacted by the pandemic. No trolling here. His path was not uncommon at his HS, though he did better than most.[/quote]
