Ok geniuses. You can "opt out" of having a home visit by not attending a public school for preschool and pre-k. The funds used for those programs are largely head start funds, that are intended for low-income folks. Head start programs require a home visit. As for "opting out" of vaccines because you think they mutate viruses, you really need to have your head examined or read a basic biology textbook.
Merde, this thread has mutated into a vaccine flame-fest AND has managed to get Yu Ying mentioned... PP "OK geniuses" poster--this home visit is for ALL ELEMENTARY GRADES at this school, NOT just pre-K. And not everyone can afford private school, yet they STILL DON'T QUALIFY for head start.
YY started this this yr for all SN kids with IEPs in all grades not just preK. The child's SN team visits the kid at home and plays with them to help the child feel comfortable. It was great and my child loved it.
