Showcases should drop next week once Nationals wraps. Final times and field locations for league game is not goinng to happen until well into August so take a breath and enjoy your summer
Just wondering when January Florida showcase is so we can figure out trip to Europe!
Nobody cares. Go back to your Arlington bubble
On the Boy’s side, ECNL is a joke. MLSNext 10X the program. And schedule out for more than a week.
Can you provide the reasons MLS Next is a superior program? What are the pros and cons of each. Thanks
Better funding. Better talent. Better competition (including many MLS Academy teams). MLSNext teams will play 34 regular season games in the 2024-2025, ECNL teams play 22-24 games during the same period. ECNL still a solid program, for now.
Apparently you haven't played West Virginia...not better across the board.
WV is weak by MLS Next standards Will hold their own against lesser leagues
You think any of their teams would be able to stay within 6 goals of NCFC or NVA? I do not.
NVA?! That’s a joke.
Not really a joke. They almost won the national playoffs at U-16. I don't think any local MLS Next club could compete with that team--other than DC United--and maybe SYC. Not Alexandra, Achilles or Bethesda--add in the rest of the MLS Next MD clubs in there too. If we are talking DCU that's another story--but MLS Next? Nah. For kicks lets add in Pipeline against these same local MLS Next teams. My bet is on Pipeline... Honestly, Next and ECNL are pretty similar--some strong teams, some weaker teams. the only top tier is the actual MLS teams--Next is sort of a mixed bag--some good, some weak. Not unlike ECNL.
