I think this "zero waste" goal permeates all of our activities and we just have the habit of not buying things we don't need or might have to toss later and using everything we have down to the last drop before buying new. Even things we don't like that much -- if I buy shampoo and I don't like it that much I will still use it all up before trying a different shampoo. I think most people will just get new shampoo and recycle the container right away.[/quote]
