No, did I say that? Do you actually think red light cameras stop cars from running red lights?  On my daily commute that passes through many DC neighborhoods with many cameras the answer is no.[/quote]

So you would run through a red light if the camera wasn’t there?  Anyway you are one person.  I see people blow through red lights every day on my commute.  I see people drive the wrong way on one way streets, drive mopeds, atvs, etc. on public park space where kids play, I see people speed all the time.  The lights don’t seem to prevent these things from happening.[/quote]

I wouldn’t run through a red light but would run through a yellow light. Not after I got a ticket once because of a red light camera. [/quote]
