[/quote] They are definitely not "soaring" AP exam scores vary. When AP Chinese was introduced something like 76% were getting a 5, mainly because they were native Chinese speakers. Now its closer to 50% both the exams have adjusted as well as the demographic of the students. [/quote] I agree, you are absolutely right. Quite possible this is just variation.
