And little Leo Messi was one of the best athletes in his prime with respect to both speed and balance. Height is not athleticism. He is not world class. Yet he is the best American player. The US' golden generation is only golden compared to US. Adams, McKennie, Weah, Pulisic, Musah and Reyna are meh. AC Milan and Juventus play tougher matches and competition than the USMNT usually does with its cupcakes in CONCACAF. the US players are not the stars at those clubs, just complementary pieces. the US players do better against weak national team competition, although lately they dont even do that Pulisic is a solid pro, but not a star except on US team against weaker competition.
