Most women in our country don’t have paid maternity leave, just sick days and vacation days saved up (usually less than 6 weeks). They get the standard 6 weeks approved and can’t afford to try to extend it. Do you think they are bad parents because they work to be able to afford a home and necessities for their children? The kids have to be supervised so they stay with a sitter or go to daycare. It sucks, but rather than judging them, maybe you should have some compassion. [/quote]
