I'm really pleased to hear from everybody. And even happier to see that just by throwing this small get together we'll be able to weed out people like some of the PP's. I would hate to have to cut people off once it's too late and come to realize we've wasted our time.[/quote]

Oh, if I received your fancy printed invite for what is essentially a large playdate, we would happily attend and be polite and all... I'd even ask what I could bring to contribute.  But inside, I'd peg you as one of "those" moms who is trying too hard or has too much free time on her hands.  I LOVE all the fancy papers and such for parties, but this situation screams for  an evite or a photocopied flyer (maybe even with clipart and fancy fonts) dropped off in cubbies or posted on the daycare message board, not hand crafted invites.[/quote]
