What MS is this? I wish our HS did this.[/quote] Phones are banned during the school day at our MCPS MS and the parents were really supportive. It’s something they had been asking for actually. I wasn’t sure how to feel about it at first (I don’t like the idea of not being able to contact my child in an emergency) but DC said it’s actually caused so much less drama than last year and the kids don’t seem to mind. It was a non-issue once they got used to it. It seems that it’s a school policy now but it wouldn’t shock me if it becomes an mcps policy eventually. [/quote]
