This is OP.  What details do you think I left out?  My child wasn't the one disciplined for gun play.  I'm saying it's a poor/mixed/confusing message to send the kids that they aren't allowed to pretend to play with guns, but they are encouraged to dress in camouflage for school, which is clothing designed for when you're using guns.[/quote]
