[/quote] Letting coaches select the team is a perq of the job. It is a lot of work and hassle for a volunteer. Usually coaches want to select a good team. Frankly, there's not much difference between most decent rec players. If he selects his kid's friend over your kid, there is probably very little actual difference in skill.[/quote]
