That is what I heard too, girls from Alexandria and Arlington 16u need a club since they chopped the bottom team. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Will MYS have large numbers too next week?  Will VYS add another team? [/quote]

I mean either you get good enough to be on a team that stays or you go play rec. Many girls and boys this age play for their high school teams or multiple sports in high school and parents lose interest in paying thousands of dollars to be on a bottom team where their kids have to attend practices over their high school teams. These aren’t the kids that are looking to be recruited. It’s very common starting in ninth grade for clubs not to Field bottom level teams. Field space is at a premium, kids not showing up for practice, having to find enough coaches, etc. . [/quote]
