Dogs can be vegetarian. https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/vegetarian-diets-for-dogs
In your article it disputes what you say. It says dogs require certain nutriants only animal bases products can give! Sure they can but is it beneficial? No!
There are certain vitamins but you can get them as a supplement. Of course it can be done. So, why dies one animal have more value than another for food?
That's the way of the world. Chickens can be pets but they have been used for their eggs and dinner for a long time. If you don't want to eat chicken great. Didn't Franklin Roosevelt promise everyone a " chicken in every pot?" Lastly, this topic is about rescuing dogs from South Korea . I suggest you start a thread about chickens or cows and why we value some animals over others? Btw I don't see rats or squirels as pets but I have no desire to eat them.
You are killing other animals to feed the dogs you "saved." So, how many fish, chickens, turkeys, cows and other animals were harmed for your dog. All animals should be equally valued and not be consumed as food.
