Chickens can be pets but they have been used for their eggs and dinner for a long time. If you don't want to eat chicken great. Didn't Franklin Roosevelt promise everyone a " chicken in every pot?" Lastly, this topic is about rescuing dogs from South Korea . I suggest you start a thread about chickens or cows and why we value some animals over others? Btw I don't see rats or squirels as pets but I have no desire to eat them.[/quote]
