Yes. Every day. How is this a question?
Because lots of people don't. So clearly it is a question. I've never daily showered in my life and I'm mid 40's.
Crusty underwear wearer says what?
Harvard Med agrees with me. https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/showering-daily-is-it-necessary-2019062617193#:~:text=While%20there%20is%20no%20ideal,reasons%20to%20shower%20more%20often). “However, daily showers do not improve your health, could cause skin problems or other health issues — and, importantly, they waste a lot of water. Also, the oils, perfumes, and other additives in shampoos, conditioners, and soaps may cause problems of their own, such as allergic reactions (not to mention their cost)… While there is no ideal frequency, experts suggest that showering several times per week is plenty for most people”
I am a daily or close-to-daily showerer and this is so obvious that I think it's weird people argue with it. I shower daily because it feels good, and I use it as a divider between my workday and my evening (I generally shower in the evening after working out, which I do right after wrapping up work). I actually feel guilty about how much water I use by showering daily. But I wouldn't say I *need* to shower every day, I just like to. Some days I definitely need to shower (any day I'm spending lots of time outside, work up a big sweat, beach and pool days, long travel days, for instance) but most days all I do is run a few errands, work from my home office, and do a 30-40 minute barre or yoga class. Unless it's really gross outside, that's simply not enough to merit *needing* to shower.
