There is one in Lanham MD nearby the train tracks š After you are done there you can check out the TJ Maxx nearby which is actually the best one in the tri state area (Iām actually not joking).
let's hear more about this TJ Maxx!
Itās in an iffy shopping center but I scored most of my favorite clothing pieces there as well as a $150 Breville toaster. I browse the āoutsideā racks where they put the newer clothes and donāt bother with the other stuff. Also they have cute shoes sometimes. The TJ Maxx in Bowie isnāt bad either. TJ Maxxes in Virginia are garbage next to them both. When youāre done there, swing by the nearby Costco for the most easy breezy relaxing Costco experience of your life. Seriously, itās the only uncrowded Costco Iāve ever been to. And the people are more relaxed and polite. Next to that Costco is a Nordstrom Rack that isnāt that great, but has all the bras for busty ladies at a deep discount. Iāve gotten all my favorite bras from there. Thrifty shopper Virginia bonus round: the Talbots outlet in Springfield. Iāve found so many lovely basics at this store for $30 or less. When I had to go to the office it was my place for blazers and office wear.
Now that I know you shop at Talbot's the rest of your shopping hints mean nothing to me.
And Talbotās outlet, no lessā¦
Just quit it with the Talbot's hate. It's one of the few stores that still stocks clothes that can be washed or dry cleaned a few times without fading, getting pinholes, etc. And they have decent T-shirt cuts (literally). And I remember in the 90s buying some very nice Irish and Icelandic wool sweaters at TJ Maxx. Now they don't have quality European clothes any more. Just no-name brands and a little Tahari, Calvin Klein, and Michael Kors in my area. I don't bother to look anymore.
