However, I lost my retainer many years ago and during perimenopause/menopause my teeth began floating (common at this stage of life) and the gap returned and is now bigger than ever. I don’t think Madonna’s is fake; she’s always had it and it’s more noticeable in advancing age because of float and also because the gums often recede as we age as well.
