While most heathy people without any heart issue or high risk for heart issues can eat eggs daily, I believe the recommended amount is to keep it around 7 eggs/ week, assuming you are also eating other meats and dairy. 4 eggs every day is a lot. I wouldn’t poo poo that as totally fine, especially for a middle aged man. OP, just encourage him to get yearly physicals and blood work, like everyone should be doing over 40. If cholesterol starts rising, or BP, or anything concerning with heart comes up, time to dial back the eggs.
