Whoever these "people on twitter" are - are complete idiots or bullshit artists.  This isn't even remotely the first Islamic State attack within Russia in the last 5 years.  Russia has been progressively weakening itself and spreading itself thin given its multiple fronts of war, Ukraine, Syria, and other areas of significant tension due to self-inflicted security concerns.  Add to it the ranks of disaffected non-ethnic-Russians like the Siberians, Chechens and others who are fed up with Putin's despotic rule.  While Putin may want to try and run a victory lap with his total sham election results, the reality on the ground in Russia is nowhere near as rosy.[/quote]
